Grammy award winning singer and song writer John Legend’s first single “Used to love you” Had a nice run back when I was doing mixshow on XHTZ here in San Diego, The Kanye West produced beat was crossover friendly but a little upbeat for a lounge. After about 6 years of sitting on this pella, I finally found the perfect beat and came up with a version that works:) Enjoy.

Originally scheduled to be released on the Burlesque Soundtrack, Christina’s collabo with Cee-lo didnt quite make the grade so they apparently decided to leak on the internet. Big funky claps, soulful lyrics, super female friendly I’m def not mad at Christina for this one. I feel a new pella DJ tool coming from the intro:)

Laza Morgan ft Mavado “One by One”
I love records like this. It has summertime written all over it and great way to transition in and out of r&b or crossover island sounds… I must have had ten people (mainly female) ask me the name of this song….worked like an absolute charm early in the night.
